Some quick links:

• a list of some of the major irregularities reported in the 2004 election along with a discussion and partial debunking (it's wrong however to conclude (as the discussion does) that because there was no Bush bias, there was nothing wrong with the irregularities!)

• Kerry has (belatedly) joined the Green/Libertarian recount effort in Ohio. The Bush margin stands at "about 119,000 votes" in Ohio, with 35,379 of the provisional ballots having been thrown out (23%).

Some people have pointed out to me that "the election is over". I fully realize this! =) Because of my work on the Election Incident Reporting System this past year, I just have a strong desire to see the *most accurate numbers possible* compiled for this election. I refuse to believe that an American's vote "doesn't count" unless it swings the election. The point of an election is to accurately count the ballots. I will continue to be interested in efforts to force accountability on those districts whose election machinery and procedures failed to deliver an accurate count.

Over 10,000 election day incidents have been entered today into the Election Incident Reporting System which I wrote. I've spent all day frantically dealing with the record load, and have been up all night for the two days previous preparing for this.

I'm exhausted.
