White Overalls and Main Street Barricades

The Globe and Mail has an interesting article on the preparations for the protests in Genoa against the G8 meeting, which starts Friday.

And, as a nice example of the difference between (international policy brain-dead) Americans and (historically progressive) Italians (c.f. Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo, who'd never find an audience in America): two American students showed up to "support" Bush's abandonment of the Kyoto Protocol in Bonn. Way to go, guys.
